Ketchum-Downtown YMCA
The Ketchum Downtown YMCA is searching for dynamic, experienced, hard-working people to be positive role models for children this summer! Gain valuable training and hands-on experience working with kids in a beautiful outdoor environment. Camping at the Y is all about learning skills, developing character and making friends. Our camps are places where kids become a community as they engage in social, physical and educational activities that teach how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group. Camping teaches self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors, and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership. Summer Sleep Away Camp takes place at Camp Whittle located in Big Bear, California. The Ketchum Downtown YMCA will be taking a group of youth, grades 3-8, for an incredible week in the mountains. Earn volunteer service hours while making a difference in the lives of children.
