We are excited to invite individuals interested in working in service to the community, to join us as volunteers at the Westchester Family YMCA. How You Can Get Involved Special Community Events: Help other volunteers plan, organize and implement community events. Program Assistance: Help with various YMCA programs and events. Mentorship: Guide and inspire others through mentorship opportunities. Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks to keep our operations running smoothly. Lead a Program: Do you have a special interest/skill you would like to share? We are looking for adults to lead programs such as knitting, book club, table tennis, etc.. Child Activity Center Storytime Readers: Share you love of reading with youth members (ages 1yr-7yrs) in our Child Activity Center. Quarterly In-Community Service: Help others in the community as we volunteer for different service projects each quarter. The 'Y Day of Service' may include: helping beautify the Westchester Library; coastal clean-up, providing food to those with food insecurity.
