Culver-Palms Family YMCA

As part of our new strategic framework as a Center for Community Well-Being, we have scheduled days we call "LA Y Day of Service." While we do have specific themes, as long as we dedicate the day to serving the community our possibilities are endless. Given that the Westside Food Bank has been such a tremendous support in all of our efforts, we decided we wanted to give back to those that continuously show up for the YMCA. Join the Culver-Palms Family YMCA at the Westside Food Bank to assist them with unpacking and packing their dry goods. The WSFB have been generous supporters in our food distributions and emergency response efforts such as our Fire Relief and Community Response. Consider donating your time by giving back to them by signing up and coming on October 4th, 2025 from 11:00AM-1:00PM. This site offers two hour street parking but please plan to arrive early as we would need to sign their liability waiver and a photo release form. Please be mindful we will be handling some heavy products, therefore wear closed-toe shoes (No Uggs, Crocs, or the like). Please refrain from bringing valuables that need to be stored during the duration of your volunteer shift.
