🎃 Volunteers Needed: Halloween Pool Hunt - Spooktacular Family Fun! 👻 Organization: YMCA Sierra Madre Event Date: Saturday, October 25, 2025 Event Time: 2:00 PM - 4:00 PM Location: 611 E Sierra Madre Blvd, Sierra Madre, CA 91024 Volunteers Needed: 6 from (1pm-4pm) Commitment: 2-3 hours (including setup and cleanup) About the Event: Join us for a frightfully fun Halloween celebration at the YMCA! This family-friendly event welcomes children ages 1-18 for an afternoon of exciting activities including a unique pool egg hunt, face painting, pumpkin painting, lawn games, a costume parade, dance party, and candy giveaway. Volunteer Opportunities: We're looking for enthusiastic volunteers to help with: Activity Station Supervisors - Assist with face painting, pumpkin painting, and lawn games (cornhole, checkers, pin the spider) Pool Egg Hunt Coordinators - Help set up and manage the Halloween egg hunt by age group time slots Check-In/Registration - Welcome families and help with participant check-in Candy Giveaway Assistants - Distribute candy and prizes to participants General Event Support - Assist with setup, cleanup, and ensuring activities run smoothly Volunteer Requirements: Must be 16 years or older Enthusiastic and friendly demeanor Comfortable working with children and families Ability to stand and move around for the duration of the event Willingness to help with light setup and cleanup What You'll Gain: Community service hours Experience working with youth programs A fun, festive atmosphere The satisfaction of creating magical memories for local families
