The Community Engagement Volunteer plays a key role in creating a welcoming, inclusive, and connected environment at the Welcome Center. This supports member engagement by sharing program information, assisting with events, and ensuring every member feels seen, supported, and part of the Y community.

-Greet members and guests in a warm, friendly, and professional manner -Provide basic information about YMCA programs, events, and services -Assist with event promotion, sign-ups, and basic outreach efforts -Support membership staff by directing questions and helping manage flow in the Welcome Center -Encourage participation in programs and activities -Assist with light organization and cleanliness of the Welcome Center area -Help gather feedback from members (surveys, informal conversations) -Escort or guide members to program areas when needed - And more.
