To maintain the health and safety of all YMCA members, staff, and volunteers, the YMCA adheres to COVID-19 guidelines mandated by the state and county. While volunteering in person, please follow all branch safety procedures. Please do NOT volunteer in person if you or anyone in your household are a member of a vulnerable population as identified by public health officials or if: • You are unvaccinated and have had close contact with someone who has been diagnosed with or suspected to have Covid-19 within the last 14 days • You or anyone at home currently are under a mandated isolation or quarantine order from the Department of Public Health • You traveled outside of California in the last 10 days and it has not been at least 2 weeks since your Johnson & Johnson vaccination or at least 2 weeks since your second Pfizer or Moderna dose • Fully vaccinated individuals may enter • Unvaccinated individuals (including minors) must quarantine • Within the last 24 hours have you had any flu-like symptoms, including: • New Cough • Fever • Chills • Vomiting • Body Aches • Diarrhea • Difficulty Breathing • Shortness of Breath • New Loss of Taste or Smell After you have started volunteering with us, if your response becomes “Yes” to any of the above conditions, stay home and notify a YMCA branch staff member.
