Collins & Katz Family YMCA

YMCA Food Bank Volunteer Opportunity Join us every Thursday from 8:30 AM to 12:00 PM to help sort, bag, and distribute food to low-income families in our community. Volunteers should be able to lift at least 25 pounds and enjoy working in a team-oriented environment. Your time and effort make a meaningful difference in helping families have access to food. We welcome individuals, families, and groups who are interested in giving back to the community.

To ensure neighborhood families have access to a healthy food options during these times. Perishable Food Boxes, as well as non-perishable groceries will be distributed on a first come, first served basis.

Volunteers ages 16 and 17 must provide parent/guardian approval (signed waiver) prior to volunteering. Volunteers ages 13-15 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times while volunteering as well as provide parent/guardian approval (signed waiver) prior to volunteering.
