Mid Valley Family YMCA
The Mid Valley Family YMCA is searching for dynamic, experienced, hard-working people to be positive role models for children this summer! Summer Sleep Away Camp takes place at Camp Marcil located in Big Bear, California. The Mid Valley Family YMCA will be taking a group of youth, grades 3-8, for an incredible week in the mountains. Camping at the Y is all about learning skills, developing character and making friends. Our camps are places where kids become a community as they engage in social, physical and educational activities that teach how to be more independent and how to contribute to a group. Camping teaches self-reliance, a love for nature and the outdoors, and the development of attitudes and practices that build character and leadership. Gain valuable training and hands on experience working with kids in a beautiful outdoor environment. Earn a minimum 100 volunteer service hours while making a difference in the lives of children.
