Interested in volunteering and using your talents to encourage, guide and train young athletes at the Y? Our Youth Ball Hockey program is offered in partnership with the Los Angeles Kings®, and we rely on volunteers to support our leagues. Our volunteers are vital in helping us teach strong Y values through sports. Through positive coaching, our LA Kings Youth Ball Hockey teaches young athletes the fundamentals of the game while building their confidence, getting them active, and helping them learn valuable lessons in teamwork, sportsmanship and leadership. We make sure each child participates, regardless of skill level. Volunteering requires a 6-8 week commitment for each season. Must be 18 years of age to volunteer as a coach or assistant coach.
