Game Changers Needed – Volunteer as a Youth Sports Coach! At the Anderson Munger Family YMCA, youth sports are about more than wins and losses—they’re about building confidence, teamwork, and lifelong healthy habits. As a volunteer coach, you’ll make a lasting impact on young athletes while creating memories that last a lifetime. No prior coaching experience is required—just bring your energy, positivity, and a desire to help kids grow and thrive. The Y provides training, resources, and ongoing support. All volunteers must complete a background clearance. As part of the YMCA of Metropolitan Los Angeles’ Center for Community Well-Being, youth sports connect directly to our vision of helping every child Be Well, Do Good, and Lead Change. Volunteering at the Y means you’re not just teaching sports—you’re nurturing resilience, belonging, and lifelong well-being. Why Volunteer?
